Not as fancy as it looks, but had its moments

The restaurant was great, had this charcoal bun burger that was amazing, and the service was excellent during the conference meals. The location can't be beat, right across from historical sites and within walking distance to museums.

It wasn’t exactly cheap, but it was still acceptable overall.

Perfect location & cozy vibes

The hotel is super close to the Capital One Arena and has a great eclectic design. Loved the free coffee in the mornings and the evening mixers were a nice touch! Staff were awesome, super attentive and always had a smile. Wish the rooms were a bit bigger, though, felt a tad cramped while getting around.

kimpton is a really unique hotel in an old post office. the location is fantastic, right across from a smithsonian. our room was interesting, featuring a lion head bas relief, and the shower was wonderfully strong. we enjoyed the quiet atmosphere, even on the first floor!

The atmosphere in this beautifully restored historic building is incredible, and it's just a short walk to the National Mall and the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History, making it perfect for weekend city strolls. I appreciated the comfortable room with its tasteful furnishings, which added to the relaxing vibe after a day exploring the surrounding attractions.

Oh boy, the local eats here are a foodie’s dream! I dove into the handmade pasta at Rasika—totally divine! Plus, the Dirty Habit bar has a chill vibe that wraps around you like a warm blanket. The staff? Friendly and helpful, feeling more like family than hotel workers.

there was some shady service at times. Our first night echoed like a party scene, and the follow-up from reception? Yikes. And cleanliness left much to be desired—dust bunnies were throwing a rave in our room. But it’s still got that DC charm!

Just a good pick for a city break in Washington with good value. The front staff greeted me with a glass of wine during check-in, which was a nice touch. Try to explore the nearby National Mall. it's perfect for a scenic run.
